it may be attractive for you to think that what happens when one idea can be spread but the other cant . I will write the summary of what Seth godin explains in this Ted Talk Video :
Seth godin explains four specific examples .
first he is going to talk about the a company called silk which tripled its sales. second is about an artist named Jeff Koons who changed from being nobody to making a whole bunch of money and having a lot of impact. 3th is about the Frank gehry who redefined what it meant to be an architect. and at last he is talking about one of his biggest failures as a Marketer in the last few years , a record label he started that had a CD called "sauce".
he starts his speech about the story of sliced bread and a guy named Otto Rohwedder .
what the world was like 40 years ago. No one knew about it.
we have been talking about the ideas in this conference . its about can you get your ideas spread or not. what we are living in is the century of ideas .
if you could spread these ideas , they will win and its regardless of what these ideas are.
at the heart of spreading ideas is TV and mass media . TV & mass media made it too easy to spread the idea.
